Astral Scope:               Prime Subcontractor; Mostly Design & Build
Brief Description:      The Frontier Corps facility at Warsak is a large facility with billeting,
training, offices, DFAC etc. which is completely self-contained.
Another contractor had built the compound level utilities
infrastructure and road networks. It was a very poor job both in
terms of design and construction. Astral (then Kestral SPD (Pvt) Ltd)
was engaged by the US Prime contractor to re-design and rebuild all
these elements where re-design was required and where the existing
design was acceptable, dismantling and reconstruction of
infrastructure and utilities. This was a large project and completed in
record time of 9 months with minimal disturbance to the officials and
trainers given that the compound was a live site.
